Who We Are

Savyn is an Android launcher developed by Savyn Labs that transforms your phone into a council of AI members — each one dedicated to a different part of your life.

Where Your Data Lives

All your data is stored locally on your device:

Conversations with your council members
App usage patterns (with your permission)
Preferences and settings
Notes and saves you add to Savyn

We do not have servers that store your personal data. We cannot access, view, or retrieve your information.

AI Processing

Savyn uses AI (via OpenAI) to power conversations with your council members. Here's how we protect your privacy:

🛡️ Anonymization

Before any data is sent to the AI, we strip out personal identifiers. Names, specific locations, and other identifying information are removed or generalized.

📱 App Proxying

App names are proxied — instead of sending the actual app name, we send a generic category (e.g., "fitness app" instead of the specific name).

🚫 No Training

Your conversations are not used to train AI models. We use API services that do not retain or learn from your data.

What We Don't Do

No data selling — We have nothing to sell. Your data isn't ours.
No advertising — No ads, no ad tracking, no targeting.
No analytics — We don't track how you use the app.
No accounts — Full functionality without signing up.
No third-party sharing — Beyond anonymized AI processing, your data goes nowhere.

Permissions We Request

📊 Usage Access

This optional permission lets Savyn see which apps you use and when. It helps your council members understand your patterns and surface the right apps at the right time. This data never leaves your device except in anonymized form for AI processing.

Your Control

Delete anytime — Uninstalling Savyn removes all local data instantly.
Clear conversations — Reset any council member's memory from within the app.
Revoke permissions — Disable usage access anytime in Android settings.

Children's Privacy

Savyn is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Policy Updates

If we update this policy, we'll note the changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
